I love that this Italian restaurant has a brunch menu that is all about the simple, fresh ingredients that take you to a very different place and time. The combination of the fresh pasta and the fresh vegetables is so refreshing and delicious, and the service is very attentive. It’s a great spot to grab lunch when you’re in a hurry.
But this place is also the place where the great French Chef Henri Pesca is a resident. He is known for his great service, fresh and delicious food, and his incredible knowledge of Italian wine.
The location is great for brunch because it literally has a full cafe with a good variety of food. But it also has a much bigger menu, with a lot of salads and sandwiches that are very unique to the area. And the French chef is known for his superb cooking and is very popular in the area. I highly recommend this place.
The restaurant has recently expanded. Right now it’s really small but will become much larger in the next few months. It’s located on the top floor of a building in a completely different part of the city. So we’re not sure if we’ll be able to visit for a while, or if we’ll be able to get on a plane and head out of town.
The new restaurant has been in the area for just three months now and is already being compared to a new Michelin star restaurant in Chicago. I don’t know what that means but I was definitely hoping that it would be better. They are currently trying to increase their clientele with offers for the restaurant to be on the top floor of the building that is being renovated. You can easily walk from the cafe’s entrance to the top floor and see the restaurant from the roof.
I am not sure what the restaurant is called, but it definitely doesnt have anything to do with the famous French restaurant in Paris, or the nearby Bistro de l’Ancienne. It is called Confraria.
